I like your style

You ever wonder if you're making the right choice when you go to book your photographer? You start to wonder if you should have researched a little more, tried to see if there's something or someone that you've missed?

Don't sweat it. Because WE don't.

I am the first to give a deserving photographer a "thumbs up" on their business page! In fact, there's an entire community of us. User groups for photographers that have similar styles, like the same presets, same lenses, live in the same area, need help with technicality. We support each other.

You're interested in a wedding date and I'm already committed to another couple, that's ok. Because I'm looking out for YOU and I'm looking out for my fellow shooters too! Just because I'm not getting your business, doesn't mean that I shouldn't lead you to someone else similar in style!  I am always going to fit someones style OR I'm simply not. I can't change the way I like to do things, just like you can't change your opinion of it. And neither should my fellow photogs!

The simple fact of the matter is, I'll keep shooting clients who seek me for what I offer, just as Megan Morales (featured below) will keep the clients who love her creativity! Oh and did I mention she's an art teacher? Bonus creativity points!

We're photographers and we're friends. Bottom line.

All about that bump

Because you know I'm all about that bump ;)

But in all seriousness, I cannot imagine why anyone wouldn't want their pregnancy documented with a maternity session?! You're growing a human in that uterus! Sounds very fun, right?

I believe in hopeless romance and that EVERYTHING deserves it's own celebration. Especially in these nine months. Meeting Ben is a memory I relive often, but the day Colt was born was THE BEST day of my life thus far. And I love to reminisce my pregnancy through my personal photos. The moments when he was mine, all mine.

I.MISS.THAT.

Here's a few of my favorite pregnant moments with my always sweet clients.

KIDS

I like kids. They get me. No, I didn’t say that backwards. Sometimes I just can’t “adult.”

There is literally never a forced connection between me and a candy loving, track speed running, messy kiddo. We don’t even have to talk if they don’t want to. But hey, if they wanna show me their pineapple sunglasses that’s cool too. I catch them off guard when they think they've created some distance from me, but to their surprise I’m right on their heels. I’ve still got it ;) I think I’ve officially been accepted when they notice me on my knees in the grass snapping my shots, “if this girl does mud pies, she’s in.”

So for now, pineapple shaped sunglasses, crazy hair, and not so serious smiles are 100% in. Because one day those little girls will turn into young women, applying lipstick and smiling oh so poised for the camera. And those handsome gents will look into my lens with the most serious of faces, leaving us only to wonder if they ever had a goofy side.
