Tatiana & Zac || Elon, NC

Just another one of those days where I'm so humbled & happy. Tatiana was so excited and it made MY heart so happy. Zac was a trooper for whatever his bride to be wanted. These college athletes clean up nice, outside of cleats and a ball cap. ;)

"Never give up. The last swing could win the game."

Haven + Riddim || Asheville, NC

I'll try & keep these sappy words short, but it's times like these that I'm so humbled with the opportunity I have to create art & have fun with couples who are very much in love. There are so many incredible photographers in my area. I'm so happy that people choose to share their love through my lens.

I met Riddim in the Summer of 2016. He was bartending at a wedding I was photographing. He asked for a business card & told me he had plans to propose to his beautiful girlfriend in the upcoming months. I was so excited when he contacted me months later. Guess who was there to document that ;) And a few months after that these two love bugs volunteered to play in the snow with me one January night ( I'm still obsessed with those photos).

So with that, all I will say is be kind to every single person you meet, because you never know where that relationship may lead. Fortunately, this one led me barefoot in Asheville with these two incredibly genuine, beautiful people. Oh and guess who also gets to document their wedding next June. ;)

Kara & Cole || Full Frame Theater, Durham NC

I spoke with Kara & Cole only a little over a month before their intimate affair. I was really excited about the privacy of their Wedding Day, because they really just wanted to get married. Sharing this moment with thirty of their closest family members & friends. And the rest was history.

Beth + Thomas| Hanging Rock, NC

BETH&THOMAS

I'm not sure where to start with this one, as these two were way more entertaining to me than I had to be for them. Typically with my engagement sessions I direct, so that my couples have tasks to do that keep them busy & forgetful of my camera. But Beth kept both Thomas & I easily entertained. She chose to end with a mountain overview and... SHE'S AFRAID OF HEIGHTS. Y'all... that segment was the easiest & most fun part of the session! I gave ZERO direction, watching Beth cling to Thomas for dear life. I'll let these photos do the rest of the talking.

Beth & Thomas, thanks for choosing me. <3
